You need to remove the cookies on a regular basis to ensure that you are keeping your privacy. There is a file on the hard drive where all of the cookies are stored. Simply remove them through a deletion process.

Temporary Internet Files

Then you should remove the temporary internet files. These are files that pertain to things on a website that have loaded in the browser, such as pictures and movie files. Remove these in much the same way that you would the cookies.
